Mangaluru, Feb 06, 2018: Matha Amritanandamayi, popularly known as Amma among her followers will be visiting Mangaluru on February 20 and 21. She will be participating in the tenth Shree Brahmasthana Mahotsava at Boloor and bless the devotees with her warm hug.
Arrangements are in full swing for Amma’s visit. The Matha Amritanandamayi Seva Samithi under the leadership of Prasad Raj Kanchan and guidance of Mutt’s Pontiff Brahmacharini Mangalamrutha Chaitanya is making efforts to ensure maximum participation in this year’s Brahmasthana Mahotsav.
Matha Amritanandamayi had herself consecrated this Brahmasthana ten years ago. Special programmes will be held this year on the occasion of the tenth annual event of the shrine. Presently, beautiful sculptures are being sculpted at the Kshetra by renowned sculptors from Kerala.
During Amma’s visit to coincide with the Brahmasthana Mahotsav this year, Mahaganapathi Homa, Maha Mrityunjaya Homa, Maha Sudarshana Homa, Navagriha Homa, Bhagavathi Seve/Devi Pooja will be held from sunrise to sunset. Devotees will also have opportunity to receive Prasadam from the divine hands of Amma.
