Alva’s Foundation to adopt three children of couple who lost lives in temple tragedy

Mangaluru, Dec 18, 2018:  In a noble gesture, Alva’s Education Foundation of Moodbidri has decided to adopt the three children of  Krishna Naik and Mailibai couple who are among the several who died  after consuming the poisoned prasadam at the Maramma Devi Shrine at Sulvadi in Chamrajanagar.


Mohan-alva.Alva’s Foundation Chairman Dr M Mohan  Alva said   Alva’s PU College Principal  has already met the children and  relatives of the deceased couple and spoke about the offer of  the Foundation of providing them Rs one lakh and free education.

Dr Alva said  the Foundation would  offer all  facilities free of cost if the eldest daughter Ranibai does her B.SC, second daughter   pursues B.SC nursing and son Rajesh  pursues PUC education.
