All College Students Union inaugurated at Town Hall

Mangaluru Sep 19, 2016: Mayor Harinath inaugurated All College Students Union 2016-17 at Town Hall on September 19, Monday.

Speaking on the occasion Harinath said that Mangaluru is known for its leadership qualities which have already proved by Ramanath Rai, UT Khader, Ivan D’Souza who graduated in Mangaluru and are serving the people.

Student power is the strength of the country as they can raise voice against the wrongdoings in the country, he added.

On this occasion Mangaluru Traffic West Pandeshwar PC Suresh K and recipient of Gold medal in state level karate championship, Jathin Deory were felicitated.

Scholarships were handed over to physically disabled students Sachin, Aisha Dilshana, Aslam and Manjula.

Mungarumale-2 fame actress Neha Shetty was also felicitated on the occasion.

Meanwhile Neha Shetty launched All College Students’ Union Facebook page and flagged off the Students Union rally.

Former Mayor Ashraf, Praveen Chandra Alva, Rauf and others were present.

Every youth cannot be the Union .He should have such leadership quality that brings him success. He has to give selfless service and stand by them for justice

The student union is must in the colleges because in case of any fault with the college management the student can seek help of union
