Airport taxi drivers thrash Ola and Uber cab drivers at MIA

Mangaluru, Nov 7, 2018: Private cab drivers at the Mangaluru International Airport assaulted Ola and Uber Cab drivers with rods and lethal weapons on Wednesday, November 7.
The incident took place near the airport entrance when the Ola and Uber Taxi drivers had arrived here to submit a memorandum to Airport Authority officials seeking permission for picking passengers from the airport.
Over 25 Ola and Uber drivers were injured in the assault of which two persons are critical. All the injured have been shifted to the hospital
A case has been registered at Bajpe station.
