After reprimand from sister, 13- year old girl ends life

Mangaluru, Oct 08, 2020: A 13 year old reportedly committed suicide after being reprimanded for troubling other kids along whom she was playing. The incident took place at Guddada Melu near Moodumarnad in Moodbidri on October 8, Thursday.
The deceased girl is Pooja, daughter of Sushila and Karunaker. It is learnt she hanged herself from a tree branch near her house using a shawl.
Sources said her elder sister had reprimanded her for beating little children with whom she was playing. Moodbidri police are investigating the case.
