Mangaluru, February 26, 2016: Zuese Fitness Club, one of the city’s most popular fitness centres, is all set to inaugurate its new ultra modern facility. The gym, which was earlier operating out of Sudheendra Plaza at PVS Junction in the city is now relocating to a swanky new outlet occupying the entire third floor of Ibrose Commercial Complex on MG Road.
 
Announcing this at a media conference held at the new venue yesterday, the directors of the new venture Rajesh Pattali, Srinivas Shetty, Prasad Shetty, Vikas Puthran and centre head Nishit Boloor, said the inauguration ceremony will take place on Sunday, 28th February at 10.00 a.m.

Mangalore origin national level cricketer K. L. Rahul will be chief guest of the event. Sonali Swami, who is one of India’s top fitness athletes, will be the special guest they said.

The inauguration will also be graced by many other dignitaries and luminaries like state ministers B. Ramanath Rai, U.T Khadar and Abhayachandra Jain, the Deputy Commissioner A. B. Ibrahim, Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel, legislator J.R. Lobo, former state minister J. Krishna Palemar, former city legislator Yogish Bhat and entrepreneurs A. J. Shetty and A. Sadanand Shetty among others.

The opening ceremony will include felicitation of achievers and contributors in the field of sports, fitness and social service. There will be seminar and special performance demos of the latest trends in the field of fitness such as Mixed Martial Arts and Zumba.

Located in a vibrant and premium venue of Mangalore, the new facility with an expanse of 9000 square feet makes Zuese Fitness Club the biggest fitness centre of the city, said Prasad Shetty, one of its directors, who is himself a fitness buff. He recently won the Gold Medal and the title of ‘Strongest Man in India’ at the National Level Powerlifting Competition conducted by Indian Powerlifting Federation from 2nd to 5th January at Jamshedpur.

The new centrally air-conditioned club is equipped with more than 60 state-of-the-art fitness equipment including the latest cardio equipment. It has dedicated studios for Groupex indoor cycling and members can also enjoy popular Groupex classes like Zumba, Yoga, Aerobics and Zpining. Caffein8, a revolutionary nutrition café, will be a part of the new outlet.

A unique premium feature of the club is Zuese Fight club, which has a dedicated facility for training in mixed martial arts (MMA). Kaushik Boloor, a top MMA exponent who has represented India in international MMA events is the Head Coach of this unit, Prasad Shetty said. 

‘Zuese Fitness’ was started in 2010 by Vijender Bhat and Rajesh Pattali, with their team of young and energetic trainers and went on to become the most recommended gyms in the coastal city. It presently has strength of more than 5000 registered members and 1000 active members. Hence, responding to the growing interest in fitness among the people, the management decided to upgrade the facility with contemporary facilities, the directors said.

This where Rajesh Pattali along with Srinivas Shetty, Vikas Puthran, Prasad Shetty, Akhilesh Varambally, Abhilash, Richie Pooviah joined hand together to get the best and the biggest fitness facility in Mangalore, they said.
