Mangalore, June 18: Demanding a single entrance fees for the professional courses, Akhila Bharatha Vidhyarthi Parishath (ABVP) has staged protest at Jyothi Circle on June 18.

Speaking on the occasion, Swami Marulapura, Assistant Secretary, ABVP, said that education has become very expensive for weaker section of the society. After the commercialization of education, separate school and colleges have been set up for rich and poor. The poor section of society is now also finding difficult to get entrance in big schools and college. Education has turned into big business for big private organization, he said .

 

On the occasion, the members of ABVP have also demanded for a single entrance test for the professional courses in state level and also urged to set up a ‘Indian education development Bank’ to develop education in India.
