ABVP seeks arrest of teacher accused in sexual harassment case

Mangalore, July 23, 2014:  Members of the Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad protested outside the St Raymond’s College at Vamanjoor on July 23, Wednesday demanding the  arrest of the teacher  who has been accused of sexually harassing a student.

 

 

The ABVP also took strong exception to the stance of the college management in defending the accused teacher and demanded that he be handed over to the police.

The protestors further asked the College Principal to assure that the accused teacher Harish will be handed over to the police.

Later, a few representatives of the Parishad met the Principal, who they said has assured to co-operate with the police in the investigation.
