A youth from Kasargod goes missing from Ship in Panama sea

Kasargod Aug 13, 2016 : A youth from Kasargod goes missing from a ship who had reported to duty goes missing on August 11, Thursday says authorities.

sail aug 13 16 The missing youth is identified as Nikhil Kadappuram (21) had joined the vessel MV Bochem Brussels as saloon trainee seaman on January 3 ,2016 .

The sources say that he had reported to duty as usual but later when was they reached him he was missing from his cabin. Immediately they they raised alarm to on board. But he was not found.

Nikhil’s father Gopinath Kunhappu is an employee at private hospital in Palakunnu. His mother Sushila and brother Nitin are working in the Gulf and sister Nitya is pursuing her degree. He had to return to his home town next month.

The search operation is being carried out in co ordination with Panamanian Aero naval service along with other vessels in the vicinity, stated the Mumbai-based Anglo-Eastern Ship Management (India) Pvt Ltd, to which the vessel belongs, in its communication to the family. The family has requested the Government to trace Nikhil.
