Malpe, March 4, 2013  : For some fishermen at the Malpe fisheries port, it was a big catch of the season on March 3, Sunday, when thy netted a huge shark weighing around 300 kg.

The eight feet  long shark (known as Thaate in local dialect) was dragged to the shore using a thick rope. The fish was later sold for Rs 45,000. The fishermen who netted the shark also proudly posed for the photograph along with their prized catch.
