65-year-old woman found murdered, son accused

Mangaluru, May 27, 2016: According to the police,  a 65-year-old woman was done to death allegedly by her son and his wife in Yedapadavu in Bajpe police station limits.  According to the police, the victim has been identified as Daggubai.

Daggubai was staying with her son — Srinivas and daughter-in-law Vimala.

 

Srinivas often quarrelled with his mother, in a drunk state,  Srinivas, quarrelled with his mother on the fateful day. Srinivas and his wife Vimala allegedly assaulted Daggubai that resulted in her death. On the complaint of Sadananda Gowda, Daggubai’s other son, the police arrested Vimala and are on the look for the other accused.
