6 injured in road mishap at Kalladka

Bantwal, Mar 23, 2015: Six persons sustained injuries, three of them critically in a road accident reported from Kalladka on March 22, Sunday evening. The accidents involved three vehicles.

A Maruti Omni in which a family from Shaktinagar in Mangaluru was travelling, collided against an autorickshaw badly damaging it. The Maruti Omni which went out of control of its driver crashed against a motorbike and then fell on the roadside. A couple and their child who were in the motorbike sustained injuries. Even the three members of a family from Shaktinagar who were in the Maruti Omni were injured. The condition of one of them, a woman is said to be critical. Even the child which was travelling with its parents in the motorbike was seriously injured.

The autorickshaw driver Ashraf too sustained injuries. All the injured are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
