Mangaluru, Jun 30,2020: 44 Persons test positive for Covid-19 in Dakshina Kannada on June 30, Tuesday and Nine new cases with one death reported in Udupi , today.

Ten doctors including a main doctor serving at district COVID hospital in DK tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday June 30.

Among 44 who tested positive, 33 are males and 11 are females. One is an inter-state returnee, three inter-district returnees, two from Saudi Arabia, nine have been diagnosed with influenza-like illness (ILI), three with severe acute respiratory illness (SARI) and 21 were primary contacts of earlier patients. Contact tracing process of five patients is on.

Among the 9 new cases reported in Udupi, six are males and three are females.Three have travelled to Maharashtra recently, three are Bengaluru returnees, one from Telangana and two primary contacts of earlier patients.
