404 new Covid-19 positive cases in DK; 126 cases in Udupi on September 13

Mangaluru, September 13, 2020: 404 people from Dakshina Kannada (DK) and 126 people from Udupi tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, September 13, 2020. Three more Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in DK district today.

Among the 404 new cases in DK, 212 are from Mangaluru, 60 from Bantwal, 39 from Beltangady, 46 from Puttur, 27 from Sullia and 20 are from outside DK district. As many as 174 patients were discharged from hospital today.

With this the total Covid 19 positive cases in the DK district rose to 17,363. As many as 12,987 persons have been discharged and 3,934 cases are currently active. 442 deaths have occurred including 3 today.

Udupi district has reported 126 fresh cases on Sunday. Among them, 53 are from Udupi, 47 from Kundapur, 20 from Karkala and six from outside the district. Now, the Udupi has a total of 14,038 cases with 1,732 still being treated at the designated hospitals. 12,176 patients recovered and discharged including 154 today. The district has reported 130 COVID-19 fatality.
