Mangaluru, Apr 28, 2017: As many as four men were arrested and seven women rescued by the Kadri police in raids on two massage parlours in the city on April 27, Thursday.
Those arrested are Jeevan (21), Sijesh (30) from Kerala, Satish (29) from Puttur and Pawan (21 from Edapadavu.
The police first raided a massage parlour operating in an apartment on Arya Samaj Road and rescued four women who were found working there. Sijesh and Jeevan were arrested from this place. However the owner managed to escape.
Meanwhile, in another raid on an apartment at Bendorewell, three women were rescued and two others were arrested. This massage parlour was located on the ground floor of the apartment.
The arrests were made by a police team led by Kadri Inspector Maruti Nayak. The seven rescued women have been sent to Prajna Counselling Centre.
Further investigations are underway.
