4 killed in ghastly road mishap near Kanhangad

Kasargod, Dec 27,2012: A ghastly road accident involving a private bus and an autorickshaw at Poochakkad near Kanhangad on the afternoon of December 26, Wednesday, left four persons including three children killed and four others critically injured.
The two vehicles collided head on after the bus which was on the wrong side tried to overtake another bus. It is learnt, there were eight passengers in the autorickshaw and all of them were on way to attend a wedding.
The auto driver Ratheesh (28) and the three passengers namely Anjitha(14), Sachin(5) and Abhishek(4). All of them were relatives and hailed from Thaikadavu near Neeleshwaram.
A case has been registered in the local police station.
