Mangaluru, April 5, 2016 : State Minister for Health and Family Welfare UT Khader has said that so far 387 cases have been reported in Karnataka under the newly introduced Santwana Harish Scheme.
Speaking to reporters here, the Minister said the government will also issue certificates to the Good Samaritans and that a special ceremony would be organised to award them.
The Minister further said that a District Early Intervention Centre under the National Health Mission, aimed at early detection and treatment of pre and post natal diseases will be inaugurated in Mangaluru soon.
He also stated that the infants which are found to suffer from any defect soon after delivery should be taken to the District Early Intervention Centre.
