37 fresh Covid-19 cases in DK, Udupi reports 3

Mangaluru, Jan 07, 2021:     As many as 37 people tested positive to Covid-19 on Thursday. With the fresh confirmed infections, Dakshina Kannada district’s total tally of Covid-19 cases stood at 33,117.

 

As many as 732 deaths have occured so far in the district.

The district has 395 active cases undergoing treatment at hospitals, Covid Care centres and in home isolation.

As many as 7 patients had recovered and discharged from hospital on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries to 31,960.

In Udupi

A total of 3 people in the district tested positive for Covid-19 and the total number of cases stood at 23,153 as on Thursday.

As many as 20 patients had recovered and discharged from hospital on Thursday, while there are 93 avtive cases.

As many as 189 deaths have occured so far.
