Belthangady, Sep 14, 2016; It is reported that a 15-year-old boy succumbed to dengue in the early hours of Sept 13, Tuesday at Laila in Belthangady.
Naveen, resident of Putrabail in Laila village and son of Chandappa was a class 9 student at Belthangady Government High School.
It is said that he was suffering from dengue from the past few days and was admitted to a private hospital at Budyar.
However, he failed to respond to treatment and succumbed.
Dengue has been raging in the state and action is being taken but prevention is essential.
