1 yr old child dies as TV falls over him while playing

Kasargod, Aug 22, 2015: In a tragic incident a one year old child lost his life when a  television set fell over him at his house at Ernakulam on August 21, Friday.

The deceased child  is Arnav, son of KP Unnikrishnan who hails from Kanhangad in Kasargod.

The mishap took place at the staff quarters of the company for which Unnikrishnan, an engineer by profession was working.

It has been gathered that the little boy  had climbed  the TV stand  kept in the living room when  the TV all of a sudden rolled over him.

Though the boy was immediately rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.

It is learnt, Unnikrishnan was on a three-month training at Kanhangad and was staying at the quarters along with his wife and child.

The family was about to move to Kanhangad in a couple of days  when the tragedy struck.
