Mangaluru, Feb 6, 2015 : “A leader like Praveen Togadia who is ready to sacrifice his life for his nation is banned from attending the Samajotsava to be held in Bengaluru,” remarked senior RSS leader Kalladka Bhat on the state government orders prohibiting Togadia’s entry to the capital.
Bhat was speaking after inaugurating the Hindu Samajotsava office near Bunts Hostel in the city on February 5, Thursday.
On the Samajotsavs organised by Hindu organisations, Bhat said it aimed at uniting Hindus to whom India belonged to since thousands of years.
Bhat was strongly critical of the state government for withdrawing the anti-cow slaughter bill brought by the erstwhile BJP government. Mentioning about Love Jehad, the RSS leader said “Thousands of girls from our community are victims of Love Jehad” and charged the government of backing the culprits by fixing youth who have been to the rescue of the girls.
He also welcomed the formation of Bharatiya Hindu Parishad by Congressman Hemanath Shetty in Puttur. On another Congressman Vijaynath Vittal Shetty who will be presiding over the Hindu Samajotsav to be held in Mangaluru in March, Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat said “He (Shetty) has joined hands with us for the cause of Hindu community,:
The function was presided over by Vijaynath Vittal Shetty. District President of VHP Jagadish Shenava, M B Puranik, Jagadeep Suvarna, actor Srinagar Kitti, Pushparaj Jain, Jithendra Kottari and others were present.
