‘Rise in poll percentage will help BJP win polls’. Expects over 1 Lakh majority

Mangalore, Apr 18, 2014: BJP District unit President Prathap Simha Nayak has said that increase in poll percentage will help the BJP in winning the Lok Sabha polls in DK constituency. The BJP candidate is likely to win by more than one lakh lead.

 

 

Speaking to media persons on Friday, he said that if the deletion of names of those who have been transferred or dead, was done effectively, then the polling percentage would have crossed 80 percent.

“The Congress had tried to deviate  from the main issue during the campaign by leveling personal attacks on BJP candidate for DK and PM candidate Narendra Modi. The opposition also engaged in caste politics to divide the society.

However, Modi wave helped in creating enthusiasm among the voters, who were craving for a change in the country. Around 87,772 votes were polled more this election. Fresh voters have been craving for a change and believed in Modi’s call for vote for India,” Nayak added.

The BJP President said “with record polling in Sullia and Puttur assembly confident of winning the poll in the constituencies. By people’s participation, democracy has been strengthened,” he added.
