Udupi, Nov 24, 2017: Bhagaiah, Saha Sarkaryavaha of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), said on Nov 23, Thursday that in the next 15-20 years, it “should be possible to build a glorious Hindu community”.

Hindu Vaibhav.

He was speaking after inaugurating an exhibition titled ‘Hindu Vaibhava’ organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad as part of the three-day Dharma Sansad, which begins today Nov 23, Friday.

Bhagaiah said that Hinduism and glory go together. This glory and culture has spread to other parts of the world over a long time, he claimed. “India was once a glorious country and an economic superpower, which produced nearly a third of the world’s GDP in 1780. With the right efforts, the country could reach the same level again,” he said.

He called for unity in the community and said the country should eradicate untouchability in all forms.

Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt said the Dharma Sansad has brought ‘sants’ from different parts of the country together.
