Owaisi dares PM Modi to reveal number of Muslims recruited in armed forces

New Delhi, Jul 18, 2018 : President of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Asaduddin Owaisi, while addressing an audience in Telangana’s Gadwal district, said that he wants Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reveal the number of jobs he has given to Muslims in CRPF, CISF, RAF and BSF during the four years he has been in power.

"I want to ask Narendra Modi that how many jobs you have given to Muslims in CRPF, CISF, RAF, BSF in this 4 years? When you talk about justice for Muslim women, only 7.3 percent in CISF and 6.9 per cent Muslims are in CRPF", he said.

Owaisi also urged the Muslim youth to join politics to "strengthen our democracy and constitution". He asked them to fight for their rights in a democratic way.

"This is India and there is Constitution, law, judiciary and Police here. I urge the Muslim youth to join politics to strengthen our democracy and constitution and to fight for our rights in a democratic way."

He had earlier also said that if India is to become a prosperous country it cannot marginalise Muslims.
