One-year-old falls into borewell in Telangana

New Delhi, November 28, 2015: A one-year-old boy fell into a 30-feet borewell in Telangana’s Medak district on Saturday morning. Police and rescue teams have rushed to the spot to save the toddler.
According to sources, the incident occurred when the toddler’s parents had gone to the farm to work. It was at this time that they realised the child was missing and learnt that the child had fallen in to the borewell.
A medical team also reached the area and is administering oxygen in to the borewell with an ambulance. Another pit is being dug beside the borewell in order to reach the toddler.
Locals claim that the incident occurred due to the top of the failed borewell not being sealed.
