Maharastra tally of infections crosses 70,000 after 2,361 Cases, 76 deaths in 24 hours

Mumbai, Jun 01, 2020: Maharashtra reported 2,361 new cases and 76 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking its tally of cases to 70,013 and death toll to 2,362. The number of active cases in the state currently is 37,534 while 30,108 complete recoveries have been made until now, News18 reported.

 


Extending the lockdown in containment zones till the end of the month, the Odisha government today said religious places and places of worship in the state will remain closed till June 30 and hotels will be allowed to operate up to 30% capacity. The movement of individuals will also remain strictly prohibited between 7pm to 5am throughout the state, except for essential activities.
