Karnataka ACB raids 9 officials in disproportionate assets cases; gold, cash seized

Bengaluru, Mar 09, 2021: Teams of the Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday raided residences and offices of nine officers in connection with disproportionate assets cases at 28 places in 11 districts of Karnataka.
“A team of 52 officers and 172 staff of Anti Corruption Bureau today conducted raids and search related to disproportionate assets against nine officers at 28 places in 11 districts,” an official of Karnataka unit of ACB told ANI on Tuesday.
As per initial details, cash, jewellery, expensive watches and gold utensils were recovered during ACB’s raid at CESCom Superintendent Engineer KM Munigopal Raju’s house in Mysore, it added.
