Hyderabad woman ferries husband’s body on bike after killing him

Hyderabad, Sep 26, 2016 : In a gruesome act, a woman in Hyderabad allegedly killed her husband and rode nearly 12 kms with his body on a bike, according to a report by NDTV. The woman, Pravallika Mendem (25) was arrested over the weekend.

 

The report said that the woman killed her husband allegedly by banging his head against a wall and kicking him in the groin, along with her 16-year-old nephew, with whom she has been said be having an affair. She and her nephew later ferried his body on a bike, borrowed from a neighbour, said the police.

It was reported that two constables tried to stop the bike when they saw three people on the vehicle. Police said that the head of the dead body was on the shoulders of the teen boy and his feet were getting dragged on the ground. After a chase of 2 km, the duo was caught by the police.

The woman and her nephew initially claimed that the man, Pullaiah Mendem, was already dead when they discovered the body, on the roadside after he left the house to get drunk. However, after interrogation they confessed to have killed him.
