Didi never gets angry with conspirators against India: PM Modi

Kolkata, Feb 07 2021: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that even though she gets annoyed with slogans of ‘Bhata Mata Ki Jai’ but West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee never gets angry with those who were spewing venom against the country.

“In Bengal if you ask about your rights to Didi, she gets annoyed and confused. She gets upset even if someone raises the slogan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai. But no matter how much venom is spewed by those speaking against the country, Didi does not get  angry.”

Speaking at a BJP rally in West Bengal’s East Medinipur district, the Prime Minister asked whether the Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo had ever uttered a single sentence against conspiracies against India.

“But have you heard Didi uttering a single sentence against such conspiracies against India. There are many whom the people gave the opportunity to serve the country for decades. But even they are either silent or supporting these conspiracies,” said Modi.

He also said that recently several “international conspiracies” to defame India came to light. He further alleged that the conspirators were even planning to attack India’s reputation for tea and yoga.

“You have seen in the news how international conspiracies to malign India are coming to the front these days, how many conspiracies are being revealed. It is being planned how to defame Bharat and malign its image,” said Modi.

“The conspirators are so eager that they are speaking about attacking India’s reputation related to tea. Conspiracy is being hatched to attack the hard work of tea workers. Even Yoga, a legacy of India, which was made known to the world by luminaries such as Shri Aurobindo and Swami Vivekananda, even that is being attacked,” he added. The Prime Minister said that India would give a befitting reply to the conspirators.

“I want to tell these conspirators that the country will give a befitting reply to these conspiracies with full force,” said Modi.

He also said that the TMC in the last two decades had committed many “fouls” against the people of Bengal and they would soon show the party a “Ram card.” He said that “ashol poribartan” ( real change) would take place in Bengal.
