Here are the highlights of Nitish Kumar’s speech:

Today is the last day of campaigning. I have come amidst you to ask for your precious vote for the Grand Alliance.

There is a synergy between the three parties of the Grand Alliance, there is faith.

We decided amongst ourselves how many seats each party will contest. We decided together who will contest. Even the names were announced together, this shows our unity.

Next, Lalu (Prasad) ji, Congress and we decided who will become Chief Minister.

On the other side, the BJP’s coalition has no unity. The alliance members often keep passing comments on each other.

One member even raised questions on their seat distribution

Even today they have no candidate for the CM’s post. They keep saying we are contesting the elections under Modi ji. They have no leaders

See how many ministers of the Central government are in Bihar

It’s as if Patna has become the capital of India.

The Centre doesn’t care about anything but Bihar elections these days
And in the manner in which the PM is holding rallies in Bihar, it seems that there is such a dearth of leadership in the BJP.

Next, they will contest even Panchayat elections in the name of Modi ji

They just make are tall promises.

In the Lok Sabha elections people voted for the BJP to see what would happen

We thought if we get 15-20 lakh rupees, we’ll do well, but then they said it was a jumla.

If they would have given even a part of that we could have believed him, but nothing has happened

Just see how much they are hesitating to increase the MSP for farmers

There has hardly been any increase. Look how big a hoax all their claims are.

The day he announced a package for Bihar, it seemed he was auctioning the people of the state

On the same day, we revealed how of 1.25 lakh crore 1.08 lakh crore was from old projects

Modi ji talks about smart cities. I will make the villages in Bihar so smart, they will not even look at your smart cities Modi ji.

They question me on electricity.  I only gave electricty so Modi ji could be on TV and spread false promises during the Lok Sabha polls.  They won those elections because of me. Yet they are "ahsan faramosh " and they don’t give me any credit.

He is raising issues that have nothing to do with Bihar.  About Cow slaughter,  beef.

Cow slaughter has been banned in Bihar since 1955. These are all imported issues.

(PM)Modi had come to Nawada in the Lok Sabha polls and spoken about the pink revolution.  I want to ask, what happened to the pink revolution.

In the last 16 years, beef exports have increased by 15 per cent.

Then why say other things here. Not just beef, he keeps on instigating people.

When Modi ji became Gujarat Chief Minister the beef export had increased 225 per cent.

Be careful, Dussehra and Moharram are coming together. We all have to be together.

They talk about law and order. Just a few days ago local body elections were put off in Gujarat because of law and order problems.

Has an election ever been postponed in Bihar?  With what face does he question Bihar’s law and order.
