New Delhi, July 06, 2015: Days after he kicked up a row for inappropriately touching a woman doctor at a government hospital , Jammu and Kashmir Health Minister Chaudhary Lal Singh has landed himself again in the middle of a controversy over his visit to GB Pant Children’s Hospital without donning the mandatory infection-control gear - apron and mask.

Apparently, the health minister thought the rules did not apply to him, who was caught on camera forcing his way into the most critical care unit of the children hospital refusing to wear the mandatory anti-infection gear.

According to sources, Singh on Saturday visited the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at GB Pant Hospital without taking the mandatory anti-infection measures. The minister also did not remove his shoes before entering the NICU.

Interestingly, the minister was earlier caught on camera inappropriately touching a woman doctor at a government hospital in Lakhanpur. A photo of Singh touching the collar of a female doctor while others watched went viral on Twitter and Facebook, with the opposition demanding action against the minister.

And just two weeks after taking his oath in February this year, he had landed in a controversy after a woman doctor filed a complaint against him, accusing him of "mental harassment amounting to outraging modesty".
