BANGALORE: Even as there are no signs of the dissident activities in the ruling BJP subsiding, the Party High Command has summoned Chief Minister Yeddyurappa and the rebel leader and Revenue Minister Karunaker Reddy to Delhi for talks.
This development has come in after the efforts made by senior party leader Arun Jaitley to arrive at some settlement failed to yield any result. Meanwhile, the party high command is learnt to have sent a celar message to the dissidents that there can be no change in leadership in the state and they can discuss any other issues apart from that.
Thoiugh there are reports that following this the dissidents have placed fresh demands, the rebel leader Karunaker Reddy has clariifed that the rebels have not placed any other demand. However, reports said that the fresh demands of the dissidents were to drop Shobha Karandlaje and Basavaraj Bommai from the cabinet and to transfer the CM’s Chief Secretary Balegar.
