After getting abandoned by kids, Pakeezah actress Geeta Kapoor passes away

Mumbai,May 28, 2018 : Pakeezah actress Geeta Kapoor passed away today in the morning after waiting for an year to see her kids for one last time!

 

It had come as very heart breaking when we saw the veteran actress Geeta Kapoor abandoned by her kids. She was left in a hospital last year when her son never returned to see her. CBFC member Ashoke Pandit and filmmaker Ramesh Taurani had been looking after the actress since then. And she had been living in an oldage home.

Sadly the actress passed way today in the morning as she had grown very weak waiting for the past one year to see her kids for one last time. Ashoke tweeted the news saying, “Standing besides the dead body of Actress #GeetaKapoor 57 who was abandoned by her kids in #SRVHospital a year back breathed her last at a suburban Old age home today morning. We tried our best to keep her healthy but her wait for her Son&daughter made her weaker day by day. ”

The last rites of the actress are kept on hold for now as they are hoping her kids would step out to do it. Pandit in another tweet wrote, “Her body will be kept at Cooper Hospital Vileparle for two days hoping her Children to come and atleast do the last rites Otherwise We wl do our best to bid her a dignified good bye..
