The building is located a mere 30 metres away from a local police outpost, and local residents allege, the police was aware of the sex trade going on inside the building.

The 134 males arrested  included pimps and customers, police said.

"After confirming that  sex trade was going on inside the building, we blocked the ingress and exit routes, and sealed both the gates", said Krishna Prakash.

"Those held included many minor girls who were brought from different states and forced into prostitution", he added.

The Simplex building houses residential flats, but  inside the flats were hidden spaces in walls, where the sex trade was going on.

Police is on the lookout of the kingpin behind this sex racket. Krishna Prakash said, police will try to unravel the human trafficking angle behind the sex trade.
