30-35 terrorists killed in Indian Army’s strike on 7 terror launch pads across LoC

Sep 29, 2016: India caused "significant casualties" on terrorists and those who support them during surgical strikes across the India-Pakistan border late on Wednesday, the Indian Army has said.

Reports say 30-35 terrorists were killed in the attack.

Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu says the country was angry after the Uri attack.

Villages in Punjab which are 10 km from International Border with Pakistan are being evacuated. Additional BSF troops have moved in.

Sources clarify seven terror launch pads were destroyed by the Indian Army.

The government calls an all-party meeting in the wake of surgical strikes across the India-Pakistan border late on Wednesday night. "We are with the army because they know the situation well and have been facing all the challenges. We will speak after the all-party meeting, which has been convened by the government today around 4 pm," Congress spokesperson Raj Babbar tells reporters.
