108 seers offered obeisance at Dharma Sansad 2018

Dharmasthala, Sept 3, 2018: As many as 108 seers of various mutts from across India, were offered ’Padapooja’ (obeisance) during the inaugural of ’Rashtriya Dharma Samsad-2018’ at Sri Rama Kshetra Mahasamsthanam, Kanyadi, Dharmasthala on Monday.

The programme was held on the occasion of the decennial celebrations of the coronation of Sri Ramakshetra Mahasamthanam Jagadguru Peetha pontiff Sri Brahmananda Saraswathi Swamiji.

Dharma Sansad 2018 begins

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade presided over the programme.

On Sunday, sadhus marched in a procession invoking the name of Lord Shiva. More than 2,000 sadhus have turned up for the event, colouring the town saffron. A huge pandal covering 1.25 lakh square feet has been erected for the event. Two other massive pandals have been erected to serve food for the visitors.
