New Delhi, Sep 07, 2020: Services of Kochi Metro resume with COVID-19 protocols in place as part of Unlock 4 guidelines. In the first phase, metro trains will run at intervals of 20 minutes from 7 am to 8 pm.

India’s coronavirus tally has surpassed the total cases seen in Brazil. With 42 lakh coronavirus cases, India is now the second worst-affected nation after the United States. US has recorded 62 lakh coronavirus cases so far while Brazil’s tally is at 41 lakh, according to the Johns Hopkins University tally.

With over 42 lakh coronavirus cases in total, India now has 8,82,542 active Covid-19 cases while the number of recovered cases have reached 32,50,429 with a recovery rate of 77.31%.

India has recorded a steep rise in coronavirus cases with 90,902 new cases being recorded in the past 24 hours. Apart from the over 90,000 new cases, the death toll has also gone up by 1,016. With the rise, India’s current Covid-19 case tally stands at 42,04,613 with 71,642 deaths.
