Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal passes away

June 6, 2015: Well-known Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal has reportedly passed away in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

People close to her told Telugu TV channels that she died at a hospital on Friday midnight.

Telugu TV channels are speculating that the actress died after a liposuction surgery went wrong.

However, there has been no confirmation and further details are awaited.


Though Aarthi Agarwal made her debut in Bollywood in 2000, she found success in Telugu industry when she acted in the 2001 blockbuster "Nuvvu Naaku Nachhav."

She went on to act with almost all the top-stars - Chianjeevi, Balayya, NTR and Mahesh.  But a series of duds ended her career and last year she had tried to make a come back with Ame Evaru.
