Small plane crash-lands in Delhi’s Najafgarh area, five injured

New Delhi, May 24, 2016: An air ambulance crash-landed on the outskirts of Najafgarh area in southwest Delhi on Tuesday afternoon.

 

As per reports, the air ambulance – a chartered flight from Patna to Delhi - crash-landed in a field in Kair village in Jaffarpur Kalan at around 2:45 pm.

The seven-seater air ambulance belonged to Alchemist Airlines, news agency ANI reported.

Five people have been rushed to a hospital, it added.

Fire-brigades and ambulances have been rushed to the spot.

Reports said the plane was forced to crash land due to an engine failure.
