Saharanpur DM, SSP suspended

Uttar Pradesh, May 24, 2017 : Cracking the whip after sectarian clashes left two dead and over a dozen others injured, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday suspended Saharanpur district magistrate N.P.Singh and SSP S.C.Dubey on charges of laxity.

According to the sources here, two other senior district officials have also been suspended over their failure to control the situation in the district.

Pramod Pandey and Babloo Kumar have been made the new district magistrate and SSP of Saharanpur, sources said.
