Punjab trucker on wrong side of road caused this collision, ran away

Moga, Nov 04, 2016: Thick fog caused a huge accident this morning on an important highway in Punjab. Eight people were injured, one of them is fighting for his life in hospital.

 

Photographs show a mini-van half-astride a sedan, its bonnet crumpled on the two-lane highway (Moga to Ferozepur).

A truck that was driving on the wrong side of the road crashed into them about 200 kms from the capital of Chandigarh. The driver of the truck is missing.

Yesterday, fog led to a 20-vehicle pile-up on the Yamuna Expressway near Delhi, which connects the capital to Agra.
