Now, you don’t need debit cards to withdraw money from ICICI ATMs

New Delhi, Sep 11, 2014: The ICICI bank has made withdrawing money from its ATMs much easier. Now a customer need not have a debit card or a bank account to withdraw money from an ICICI ATM.

Just with a mobile phone and a verification code one would be able to take out money from the ATM, a report said on Thursday. The process has been made simpler through the use of a verification code.

If a person wants to transfer money to another person, all he has to do is to register the recipient’s name, mobile number and address via internet banking.

The receiver will get a six-digit verification code while the sender will get a four-digit verification through SMS. The recipient can use this code for withdrawing money from the ATM.

This facility can be used in more than 10,000 ICICI ATM machines.
