SiddaramaiahBengaluru, Oct 12, 2015: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has urged leading writers and litterateurs to not to return the awards, as his government is committed to solving the murder of noted Kannada rationalist Dr. M.M. Kalburgi.

"Please have faith in us. There is no politics here. We are making sincere efforts to nab the killers. The police are probing the incident and we will catch hold of the culprits. I urge the writers to not to return the awards bestowed upon them," Siddaramaiah told the media in Bengaluru.

It is close to two months now since Dr. Kalburgi was gunned down by unidentified men and the Karnataka CID police has not yet zeroed in on the suspects.
