India’s Covid-19 tally crosses 90.5 lakh; 564 new deaths take toll to 1,32,726

New Delhi, Nov 21, 2020:     The overall coronavirus tally in India crossed 90.5-lakh mark on Saturday morning after the country recorded 46,232 new cases in 24 hours.

As per the latest figures by the Union Health Ministry, India’s Covid-19 tally reached 90,50,598 with 46,232 fresh coro

navirus infections. The death toll due to Covid-19 touched 1,32,726 after India saw 564 fatalities due to the disease.

As of Saturday morning, active cases in India stand at 4,39,747, the Union Health Ministry figures show. As many as 84,78,124 Indians have recovered from Covid-19 so far since the outbreak.

Meanwhile, India has so far tested 13,06,57,808 samples for coronavirus. As many as 10,66,022 coronavirus samples were tested across India on November 20, said Indian Council of Medical Research.
The Ministry of Health also informed that 28 states and Union Territories have less than 20,000 active cases.
