Hyderabad: High-profile online prostitution racket busted, 4 arrested

Hyderabad, October 8, 2016: Hyderabad Police today busted an online prostitution racket operated by an inter-state gang and and arrested four persons including a woman.

The gang was operating from a make shift house at posh Manikonda area of Cyberabad and was active in Hyderabad, Bihar, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and other major cities.

Cyber Crime Police while verifying the online commercials had chanced upon the website www.blissfullescorts.com inviting prospective customers seeking female escort services in Hyderabad.

"A decoy operation was launched and contacted the number furnished in the advertisment. The person who recieved the call further directed to contact a WhatsApp number and sent a photograph of a girl quoting Rs 25,000/- per night. He asked to come to Madhapur towards hi-tech city at Indian Oil petrol pump, whereby the decoy was approached by two accused persons in a Honda City, who asked for identity proof for booking a room etc."

THE ARREST

The police arrested three men and a woman and the investigations are on. The accused are booked under sections 67 (A) ITA Act, 370 (A) IPC, Sec 4 & 5 of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act r/w 34 IPC.

They were also booked under section 332 IPC for driving over the police officer.

Police has seized three Samsung mobile phones containing obscene photos of girls and chatting details in WhatsApp.
