Girl 8, Allegedly Commits Suicide in Bengaluru, Leaves Note

Bengaluru, Dec 2, 2014: An eight-year-old girl has allegedly committed suicide in Bengaluru by setting herself on fire. She was admitted to hospital last night and died today.

The police say the child left a suicide note saying no one was responsible for her death. The note reportedly mentioned that she had not gone to school for over a week and she was "leaving this world."

She was reportedly alone at home in the Yallahanka New town area of the IT city when she poured kerosene on herself and set herself on fire. Her mother is a garment factory worker.
