Fire breaks out at Apartment in Mumbai’s Parel; 2 dead and 14 injure

Mumbai, Aug 22, 2018 : A fire broke out at a high-rise residential building in Mumbai this morning. Ten fire engines have been rushed to the spot. People trapped in the top floor of the building are being rescued. Two persons died and fourteen suffered injuries.

 

Fire and huge plumes of smoke were seen from the building, Crystal Tower, near Hindmata Cinema in Mumbai’s Parel.

People trapped inside the building are being rescued using a crane. Some of the residents were seen getting on to the crane from the top floor. The number of people trapped inside Crystal Tower is not known.
