Congress leader shot dead in Virajpet

Madikeri, Sep 18, 2014: Iqbal Hassan (46), local Congress leader and former vice-president of the Kodagu Zilla Panchayat, was shot dead by unidentified persons at Virajpet in Kodagu district on Wednesday, according to information reaching here.

Miscreants who came in a car shot Mr. Hassan, who was coming out of a restaurant.
