Caught on camera: Two mowed down by bank official’s car

Chennai, Feb 10, 2016 (DHNS): Two persons died and three others were injured when a car driven by a bank official mowed them down here, police said wednesday.

The two persons succumbed to their injuries at a hospital here wednesday following which the 40-year-old official Venkatesh, who was driving the car when the mishap occurred last evening, was arrested, police said.

He had lost control of his car while taking it out of a parking space and ploughed into the group of people who were holding some discussions, police said.

The victims, Pyarelal and Abdul Rahim, succumbed to their injuries while three others were undergoing treatment, they added.
