Bengaluru-Hubli private bus catches fire, 3 dead

Bengaluru, July 27, 2016: A private bus travelling from Bengaluru to Hubli-Dharwad today caught fire. The incident took place around 11 pm near a place called Varoor.

 

16 persons were travelling onboard and three lost their lives in the fire.

Preliminary reports from the police say that it is believed that the bus was carrying liquor bottles and cigarettes and these combustible material could have caused the fire.

The bodies of those who were burnt to death are yet to be identified as they were not passengers who were booked with the travel company.

They had got into the bus midway to travel to Hubli.
